#lokispoilers I don't think Loki thought that explosion killed Thor. He knows Thor's tougher than that; they fought side by side for a millennium. He's seen Thor take hits. IMO he didn't even think the Destroyer could kill Thor, he just didn't realize how weak human bodies are.
