So I found out that Michael Bay wanted to direct a Duke Nukem movie after noticing that Sonic the Hedgehog and the Uncharted movie were successful video game films. However producers were skeptical because Bay’s Duke Nukem script was basically Deadpool minus the 4th wall humor
