Mlb Playoffs - In the MLB only 6 of the top 17 teams in terms of payroll are in the playoffs currently. 6 of the bottom 13 are in the playoffs currently. Spending money doesn't help if you spend it wrong. Mets, Yankees, Padres, Phillies, and Angels all have long term deals that hamper them.
