I watched THE TRIAL OF THE CHICAGO 7 last night, which is the GREEN BOOK of this year's Oscar season. Great performances and flashy filmmaking curdled by the filmmaker's obnoxious re-visioning of historical events and unrelentingly boomer-ized political sensibilities.
