7/2 at 2pm, ACK African Meeting House honors Frederick Douglass, reading his speech "What to the Slave is the Fourth of July." Douglas' first speech was at the anti-slavery convention on 8/11/1841, at the Nantucket Atheneum at the invitation of abolitionist William C. Coffin.
