On this date in 1958, Indianapolis' Tomlinson Hall, designed by D.A. Bohlen and built in the mid-1880s, was destroyed by fire, supposedly caused by a cigarette butt dropped by a pigeon. Though public rallied to save the building, it was demolished in July of that same year. https://t.co/VqoHCRWwKr
