Severe weather caused "significant damage" and wide-spread power outages in Oklahoma Wednesday, officials said.

The storm triggered tornado warnings on both sides of the Red River, which is the dividing point for many parts of Oklahoma and Texas.

The current advisory is in place until 9 p.m., an hour and a half after polls close in Ohio.
