Nadal passes Sinner test to storm into French Open semi-finals

The Spaniard, also looking to match Roger Federer's record of 20 Grand Slam men's singles titles, was stretched by the 19-year-old Sinner as he set up a clash with Argentine Diego Schwartzman, who beat him in the Italian Open quarter-finals last month.

Fun (yet sad) fact: The last time Nadal played an event he was the top seed. Just 2 months later, his remarkable streak of over 900 weeks in the top 10 came to an end and after FO he fell out of the top 100. I hope he has a healthy 2024 so he can have the farewell he wants.
