Alberta Premier Jason Kenney responded to the cancellation of the Keystone XL pipeline by President Bident Wednesday after TC Energy, the company behind the project, announced it has suspended work

The president also canceled the Keystone XL pipeline and ordered federal agencies to begin the process of reinstating environmental regulations reversed under the Trump administration.

President Joe Biden revoked a presidential permit for the expansion of the Keystone XL pipeline, just hours after being sworn in as the 46th president of the United States.

The steps Biden is taking will end a travel ban Trump put in place on some majority-Muslim countries. He is also calling upon his administration to strengthen the DACA program for immigrants brought to the United States as children
