On Thursday, the New York Mets announced that they had mutually agreed to part ways with head coach Carlos Beltran, who was recently hired by the team in November 2019.

Beltran, who played for the Houston Astros in the 2017 season, joined the Mets as manager in November. He is the third manager to be removed following the investigation.
