A local news anchor in Boston claimed she was fired from her job after she made a brief appearance in Adam Sandler’s new film.

"Last year, I participated in a cameo in the recently released Netflix movie by Adam Sandler, 'Hubie Halloween.' In doing so, I mistakenly violated my contract with the station," Alaina Pinto wrote on Twitter on Thursday.
