Investigators are trying to determine a motive in a New Orleans shooting. Ten people were shot near the French Quarter Sunday morning. So far, no arrests have been made.

Eleven people were injured in a shooting in a busy street near New Orleans' French Quarter early Sunday. Two people are in critical condition. Paul Dudley of CBS New Orleans affiliate WWL-TV reports.

Two victims are listed in critical condition, with one of those victims being shot in the chest and the other in the torso.

The incident took place in the early hours on the well-known Canal St, police said.

The shooting took place after the Bayou Classic, the annual Thanksgiving football game between Grambling State and Southern University.
