In 1975's "Dolemite," Rudy Ray Moore plays a rhyming pimp determined to take back control of his club using martial arts.

The film is based on a true story about Rudy Ray Moore, who was best known as the character Dolemite from his 1975 film. The movie was a hit and had several sequels.

'Dolemite Is My Name' shows how the raunchy action genre took Hollywood by surprise in the '70s.

James Earl Jones, Wesley Snipes, Leslie Jones, Rick Ross, Kiki Layne and Paul Bates are reportedly joining Eddie Murphy in a sequel to Coming to America.
